Studio Follow-up II - Graphic Design 2 - winter

The semestral program is aimed at individual master’s projects. Helps students to choose appropriate methods for successful realization of the final project.

The studio statement is the axis of education in all years of study:

Every Wednesday you will be encouraged and led to find your own way of working.
We focus on discovering a role of today’s graphic designer.
We don’t give an easy guidelines “how to do it”.
You will analyze the assignments, take a stand on them and find solutions.
You will experience the pressure of one-day tasks and the enthusiasm of a completed long-term project.
We cooperate with czech and foreign lecturers and foreign students.
We are more moderators than teachers.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Students acquire principles of self-studying and working with theoretical sources. They are able to clearly formulate the problem and have a comprehensive discussion about their final work.

Prerequisites

Theoretical and practical experience from the second semester of study.

Individual consultations between student and the supervisor of the master’s project.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Credit. The conditions for granting the credit are individual consultation with supervisor of the master’s project.

Student consults his workflow and progress of realization of the master’s project with the supervisor (or external consultant).

Using of all theoretical and practical knowledge from previous studies in the quality master’s project.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences
