Original Abstract

Cryptographic credentials can be used to prove ownership of users' personal attributes, such as age, nationality, sex, or vaccine validity. Recently, a novel keyed-verification credential system designed for lightweight devices has been developed. In this paper, we propose an extension to this system that enhances the user's privacy by implementing blind issuance to the protocol. This allows for the creation of personalized credentials, that remain hidden from the issuer and anyone who would intercept the communication. To demonstrate the practicality of our extension, we tested the scheme on multiple devices and showed that the main algorithms are comparably fast as the original implementation.
