Original Abstract

The article deals with the issue of selecting a suitable variant of photovoltaic power plant for a selected building. The aim is to find out how to reduce the energy consumption of a given building and to analyze the best design. A photovoltaic system for roof installation was chosen as the most suitable solution. The work is based on several different simulations of PV systems that reflect the annual consumption of the building, the orientation and the inclination of the PV panels. Two designs are then selected from the proposals for which an economic and energy analysis is performed.
