Original Abstract

This article deals with an overview of the use of digital twins in the field of stationary electrical energy storage. In recent years, the digital twin has seen a huge boom in the field of industrial applications, which is mainly related to the onset of the so-called Industry 4.0. Their main use can be found in the area called predictive maintenance. The digital twin connects, with the help of machine learning (especially neural networks), the digital world with the real world and thus offers completely new possibilities.
