Original Abstract

This paper brings an insight into RTLS systems and techniques for leveraging advantages of combining several types of motion digitization, in this case UWB TDoA and IMU sensors in cooperation to deal with problems like non/line/of sight (NLOS) or multipath effects, causing errors in wireless-based systems. The fundamental principles of positioning methods are explained and a brief overview of literature is introduced.
