Original Abstract

The deployment of active energy diverters in prosumers’ installations leads to bidirectional energy flow between phases over the revenue meter at point of connection with upstream three-phase distribution system. This paper presents three different control algorithms for distributing the power into the phases, which are implemented in the diverters control layer, and compares them in terms of energy registered in standard revenue meter’s import and export registers. Additionally, the innovative method of energy sorting in revenue meters, based on positive sequence power, is assumed. The paper presents a systematic analysis of the suitability of market-available energy diverting devices, used in combination with revenue meters implementing various methods of energy sorting into the registers.
