Original Abstract

This contribution is focused on the study of interaction between positively charged catanionic vesicles and the oppositely charged biopolymer, hyaluronan. This polymer is present in human body, it is fully biocompatible and biodegradable and therefore can increase the biocompatibility of catanionic vesicles. Catanionic vesicles were prepared from ion pair amphiphile HTMA-DS and were doped with positively charged dioctadecyldimethylammonium chloride (DODAC) and cholesterol for higher physical stability. These interaction were studied by using the dynamic and electrophoretic light scattering in titration mode.
