Original Abstract

The paper deals with frequency stability simulations for large disturbances such as synchronous area separation. It shows the process of preparation and validation of the simplified dynamic model for Continental Europe separation from January, 8, 2021, in which the single machine equivalent was used for modelling of power system dynamics. The model is suitable for examination of dynamic behavior of both islands which were created after the separation.
