Original Abstract

This paper presents developed Central Energy Meter application and its pilot installation in the campus of Brno University of Technology. IEC 61850-9-2 Sampled Values are source data for Central Energy Meter application. Digital data can be used in parallel for several applications if the connectivity, interoperability and data quality are enough. Specifically, Central Energy Meter application uses IEC61850-9-2 SV data for parallel applications - statistical energy meter, grid analysis – anomaly detection. This paper discusses general benefits of Central Energy Meter for building complexes such as University campuses or hospitals based on results from the pilot installation.
