Original Abstract

Aim of this work is first principles study of elastic response of Ni-Ti ordered systems on isotropic loading. All studied quantities are computed from total energy of system and its changes under applied deformation. Energies of well known Ni-Ti structures (particularly B2, B19 and B19') are compared with those of some hypothetical Ni-Ti systems. Possibility of magnetic ordering is taken into account using spin-polarized calculations.
