Paper investigates the challenges of finding the best portfolio mix by selecting the most effective combination of investments to meet the specific needs and goals of an individual investor. The goal of the asset allocation process is to select an optimal portfolio of assets given a plans risk tolerance and capital market expectations. Its a scientific process, driven by complex mathematical models.
