Original Abstract

The contribution deals with the experimental determination of the mechanical properties of the bone cement. The goal of this work was to determine these mechanical characteristics: Youngs modulus, strength and termal expansion coefficient. Measurement was provided for several kinds of the bone cement. The bone cement was prepared by convention manual mixing technique. The bone cement specimens were created by means of particular equipment and they were undergone by four-point bend test.
