Atlas materiálových struktur je multimediální dvoujazyčný (česko-anglický) výukový software vyvinutý na Fakultě strojního inženýrství, Vysokého učení technického v Brně za finanční podpory MŠMT (Ministerstvo školství, mládeže a tělovýchovy - www.msmt.cz) poskytnuté v rámci projektu FRVŠ (Fond rozvoje vysokých škol - www.frvs.cz) 1391/2009. Hlavním účelem Atlasu materiálových struktur je doplnění a zpřehlednění výuky materiálových předmětů zajišťovaných Ústavem materiálových věd a inženýrství v bakalářských a magisterských studijních programech. Přínosem pro studenty je zejména zpřehlednění přednášené teorie a také možnost spouštět testová cvičení, která mohou usnadnit přípravu na zkoušku z příslušných předmětů. Atlas materiálových struktur je volně šiřitelný autorizovaný výukový software, který je pro jiné vysoké školy se zaměřením na studium materiálů dostupný zdarma buď na vyžádání ve formě DVD nebo jako volně stažitelný z oficiálních internetových stránek Ústavu materiálových věd a inženýrství, FSI VUT v Brně na adrese http://ime.fme.vutbr.cz/atlas/index.php.

Atlas of Materials Structures is the multimedial bilingual (czech-english) educational software, which has been developed at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Brno University of Technology in financial support provided by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of the Czech Republic (www.msmt.cz) under the Project 1391/2009. The main objective of the software is to supplement education in materials subjects provided by Institute of Materials Science and Engineering, FME Brno UT at the bachelor and master degree programs. Students will find it useful to have a tool clarifying the presented subject as well as to be able to run tests, which might ease their efforts to pass the examination. Atlas of Materials Structures is authorized educational freeware. People from other universities oriented on materials subjects could obtain Atlas as DVD on request or download it from the official website of the Institue of Materials Science and Engineering (http://ime.fme.vutbr.cz/atlas/index.php).
