Original Abstract

An intermittent water supply strategy is implemented commonly in developing countries nowadays in order to minimize water deficiency, and because of many technical and financial problems. Inequitable water distribution, low pressure, possible water contamination, wasting water, coping costs of consumers and water providers, meter malfunctioning and inconvenience to consumers are some of its consequences.
