Original Abstract

Lactobacillus gasseri K7 is a probiotic strain, producer of gassericins K7 A and K7 B. Specificity of gassericin genes to serve as K7 specific targets for PCR amplification was examinated by conventional and real-time PCR using primers targeting different segments of gassericin K7 A (7 primers pairs) and K7 B (9 primers pairs) genes.
