USING TRIZ IN PHYSICS TEACHING THE WAY FROM THEORY TO PRACTICE

Abstract

In this paper we present a very good tool that enables to make physics teaching more attractive for engineering students the TechOptimizer, one of software tools supporting of TRIZ methodology (TIPS Theory of Inventive Problem Solving ). TechOptimizer makes accessible a wide range of databases, and implements partial instruments the TRIZ methodology to retrieve the data. However, TechOptimizer can be used also in basic course of physics for educational purposes. It contains more than 8000 effects (physical, chemical, mathematical). By selecting an effect, its explanation with animated illustration is displayed, together with technical applications. Using TechOptimizer for educational purposes is the topic of this contribution.
