Original Abstract

The confidential research report of the project CREDO - "Cabin noise Reduction by Experimental and numerical Design Optimisation" solved in the FP6 programme of EU. The report covers the results of the Workpackage 2, the Sub-Task 2.1.4 in CREDO project, which deals with investigation of other algorithms suitable for calculation of sound field in cabin environments. The algorithms should be used with double layer array of microphones and could be able to measure patch-to-patch. In the following chapters, the procedure of development and testing of such algorithms has been described, with definition of the algorithms requirement and brief core calculation procedure overview. The algorithms has been tested and benchmarked in environments similar to cabins (reflections, plane wave from behind) and the evaluation of the applicability to entering intensity calculation is also presented.
