Original Abstract

In this paper, the design of frequency filter by the autonomous circuit method is shown. Only current active elements are employed. The proposed filters are of 3rd order, based on the Generalized Current Mirror and Inverter (GCMI) conception, and they operate in the pure current mode. The filter experimentally implemented on a UCC-N1B integrated circuit connected to operate as a GCMI. The characteristics measured for two chosen characteristic frequencies of these new filters are presented.
