Original Abstract

The paper presents two numerical models applied to a dynamic problem of interaction between fluid and a tube made of a flexible material. In particular, we model a foil tube filled with water. The motivation is to analyse behavior of the tube depending on the inner water pressure. This king of structure has previously been proposed in river engineering to serve as a mobile weir, cofferdam, line flood protection etc. The model proved itself to be simple and fast and therefore suitable for such class of problems.
