Original Abstract

ThisthesisisfocusedonthebatterymanagementsystemforFormulaStudentmonopost. Partoftheworkisthedesignandimplementationofthismonitoringsystem’shardwareandfirmware. Thesystemusesadistributedtopologyandisdividedintoamasterboardandslaveboards.Master boarddesignandtheselectionofsuitablecomponentsaredescribed.Furthermore,slaveboardsare designed,andthefundamentalsofbatteryvoltageandtemperaturemeasuringareexplained.All systemsmustcomplywiththerulesoftheFormulaStudent.
