Metodický návod vymezuje zejména postup řešení IOÚ od analýzy současného stavu až po návrh optimálního prostorového a funkčního uspořádání pozemků v procesu pozemkových úprav. Certifikovaná metodika popisuje postupy jak na základě vstupních podkladů (s využitím GIS a v projektu vyvinutých softwarových nástrojů) navrhnout systém prvků integrované ochrany území v rámci sběrných ploch tzv. kritických bodů. Jedná se o plochy do 10 km2, které jsou vyhodnoceny jako zdroj potenciálního nebezpečí pro urbanizovaná území z přívalových srážek.

The methodology describes how to solve integrated protection of landscape from current sate analysis to design of optimal spatial and functional estate structure. There are describes input data and their analysis using GIS and software tools developed during the project. It is followed by principles how to design integrated protection system in contributing areas of critical points. These areas (maximal size to 10 km2) represent source of potential hazard of flash floods for urban areas.
