Original Abstract

This work is focused on modeling the turbulent atmosphere and pointing out its important property, non-reciprocity. This feature plays a very important role in wireless optical channel communication, where optical beam routing in the forward and backward channels is important. Therefore, this work offers an introduction to the modeling of a cascade of turbulent cells by optical elements and proposes a model based on the equivalent temperature gradient (ETG) method. By combining individual mathematical procedures, it is possible to calculate the resulting effect of the turbulent cascade on the deflection of the optical beam.
