Original Abstract

Measurement and assessment of thermo-physical properties of different type of lime-, lime-cement-, and natural hydraulic-lime-based mortars is presented in the paper. The examined mortar samples were prepared by sand or zeolite aggregate of different particle size and dosage. For the measurement, novel step-wise transient technique was used. In the experiments, the dependence of thermal conductivity and specific heat capacity on the temperature of mortar was determined. Data on thermal conductivity and specific heat capacity represents valuable information for building practice, materials researchers and building designers. It can be used, e.g. as input data for computational modeling of heat transport and storage in air lime mortars and repaired masonry.
