Original Abstract

The m-sequence cross-correlation method is a powerful approach for obtaining a linear system impulse response estimate. However, when the system under test exhibits non-linear behaviour, the obtained estimate contains some artefacts, which are not part of the linear system impulse response. This paper describes the origin of these artefacts and how they arise.
