Original Abstract

A charging stations network development process was examined and a new dynamical optimization model was introduced in the paper presented here. The model merges three main concepts based on recently published papers. It combines a graph theory problem interpretation with a time dependent dynamical approach that better suits the real world situation than static models. The model is based on basic economic paradigms that are taken in their abstract form in order to be expandable in future. A Matlab implemented model is able to find the most valuable locations in terms of unmet demand within an area of 1,475 km2 as the process of charging network development continues and to select them as charging station construction sites. A graphical demonstration of the main model constraints is provided and several conditions and problem-related terms are presented from a new point of view. A few model-expanding proposals are also introduced to indicate possible future research topics.
