Original Abstract

The present contribution describes assembly of a new imaging hardware adapted to macroscopic samples of rock discontinuities. The contribution brings the corresponding photo-documentation of the device together with the series of resulted images of discontinuities. The new device serves for assessment of rock joint coefficients that are required for stability evaluation of rock ground beneath large civil engineering structures.
