On the project
Urease-mimicking Microrobots for Urea Removal in Wearable Artificial Kidneys (UM-WAK) is a project that aims to develop a novel microrobot that can efficiently remove urea from the blood of patients with end-stage kidney disease. The project seeks to improve the design and functionality of wearable artificial kidneys, a device that can provide continuous dialysis for patients without requiring frequent replacement of sorbents.
