On the project

BaTiO3-based lead-free electroceramics are increasingly used in many electronic applications. The improvement of its electromechanical properties might lie in crystalline lattice modification by introducing oxygen vacancies. The literature currently lacks a comprehensive study of oxygen vacancies and their influence on the performance of BaTiO3-based ceramics. The project will focus on inducing oxygen vacancies by various sintering conditions and their effects on the material's properties.
