Předmětem zájmu navrhovaného projektu je výzkum procesu řešení designu a následné výroby funkčních vzorků i finálních produktů pomůcek ve zdravotnictví především z pohledu použití nových materiálů a výrobních technologií. Projekt je zaměřen na posouzení aplikace progresivních materiálů vybraných z databáze knihovny materiálů firmy matériO´ a výroby technologií rapid prototyping s cílem najít nové možnosti vizuálního-estetického i technického zpracování zdravotnických pomůcek s důrazem na ortotiku a protetiku.
