Cílem projektu je vybudování a rozvoj otevřené flexibilní kooperační sítě zajišťující efektivní komunikaci, sdílení znalostí a přenos informací v oblasti strojního inženýrství, a to nejen mezi zúčastněnými subjekty, ale zejména ve vztahu k aplikační sféře a zaměstnaneckému sektoru. Síť bude vytvořena mezi institucemi a partnery z aplikační sféry zahrnutými do plánovaných center výzkumu a vývoje podle 1. a 2. prioritní osy OP VaVpI (projekty NETME a CEITEC). Infrastruktura sítě bude zahrnovat společné fyzické (návštěvnické centrum) a virtuální (webový portál) kontaktní místo poskytující širokou škálu služeb a informací pro podnikatelský sektor i veřejnost. Součásti projektu bude rovněž podpora společného využívání vědeckovýzkumných kapacit, příprava a realizace společných projektů, tvorba informačních materiálů a organizace společných seminářů a konferencí včetně krátkodobých intersektorálních mobilit a vzdělávacích aktivit v oblasti spolupráce.

Project is focused on extension of cooperation among different types of institutions – universities (represented by Brno University of Technology and Technical University of Ostrava), research centres (represented by Institute of Physics of Materials of the Academy of Science of the CR), companies (Siemens Electric Machines, Timken, UNIS, Slovácké strojírny) and associations (Czech Machinery Cluster, Economic Chamber of Přerov Area). Main output of the project activities is to design and create a cooperative network in the area of mechanical engineering and related areas that will benefit from defined strong point of each institution. Project activities also include: - joint communication platform for educational and research institutions - system of knowledge and experience transfer - virtual contact point accessible and available to all prospective users - real contact office with professional management - educational and training activities in the area of cooperation oriented towards university and research institution employees, and university students. This network will contribute to efficient communication, sharing of good practice, and transfer of information among institutions concerned. Enhanced cooperation will be expressed by preparation and realization of joint research and educational projects, innovation support, conference and seminar organization, university and research institutions consultancy towards companies, and consequently in higher level of university education and professional preparation of students and employees.
