Building on ProQuest 5000 International, ProQuest Central Premium is a "mega-database" linking over 25 most popular databases of the ProQuest production accessed on a uniform platform of the same name plus specialized databases. It provides information for over 160 disciplines including business and economics, technology, medicine and health, literature and linguistic, society a culture, art and history. ProQuest Central contains more than 24 000 journals including 18 000 full-text ones.
PQDT Global is offering over 5 million citations with coverage from year 1637 and 3 million full-text works from from over 4,100 institutions from more than 60 countries.
Currently, PQDT Global is used by all kinds of researchers from the undergraduate student, graduate student, to the faculty researcher. The multi-disciplinary collection includes Engineering, Business, Medical Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences, Education, and more. Full text historical research dating back to 1743 alongside present-day research. The platform also contains Citation Connections that provide recommendations for other relevant sources.
From 2026, our subscription will include access to an upgraded version – ProQuest Central Premium. ProQuest Central Premium also includes eight ProQuest One collections with 6,300 subject pages.
