On the project

Fatigue performance in structural materials is critical, especially in extreme environments. This project investigates short fatigue crack behavior in additively manufactured (AM) oxide-dispersion-strengthened (ODS) CoCrNi alloys. While CoCrNi offers excellent mechanical properties, its high-temperature fatigue behavior remains unexplored. Using isothermal fatigue testing and advanced characterization, this study will clarify fatigue mechanisms, aiding the optimization of AM ODS-CoCrNi for high-performance applications.
