On the project

This project aims on the development of high-entropy transparent ceramics with photoluminescent properties. Specifically, garnet-structured high-entropy ceramics containing rare earth elements will be designed and synthesised via combustion synthesis. The main objective is to further optimise their composition in order to enhance photoluminescent properties, which will contribute to the development of novel materials for photonics.
