Rules for evaluation and completion of the course

The grade consists in submitting a project and taking a credit test. The project is a BIM model - electronic print including floor plans, elevations, sections, and visualisations, and forms 35 % of the grade. Students are required to work continuously, which forms 30 % of grade. The credit test verifies the knowledge and forms 35 % of the grade.
Students are required to participate in ten practicals at minimum. The absences cannot be compensated, but in case of serious reasons they can be excused.

Aims

The aim is to master elaboration of project documentation in 2D and 3D – an information model in BIM system.
  • Students will learn about using BIM systems for designing
  • Students can use a selected BIM system (ArchiCAD)
  • Students can create an information model of the designed object
  • Students can create 2D drawings and documentation
  • Student can create a presentation output of a 3D model including photorealistic visualisation
