Where can I find the variable symbol for paying for my application?
The application key (unique identifier of each e-application), which was sent to you by automatic e-mail after submitting the application, consists of 10 digits and 4 characters. The first ten digits of the key serve as the variable symbol for the payment of the administrative fee.
Example: Application key = 1234567890ABCD => variable symbol = 1234567890
The received administrative fee payments are assigned to your e-applications as per the variable symbol, so please make sure to carefully copy/enter the variable symbol when entering the payment.
What document should I attach to my application?
If you are submitting an e-application, no document is necessary. Please check that your payment has arrived not earlier than 3 working days at https://www.vut.cz/eprihlaska/en.

Mistakenly, I have sent CZK 700 / EUR 28 as an e-application payment to a wrong account. What could be done to set this right?
Please contact a study officer at the faculty of your choice asking them to locate this payment and reassign it to the e-application. Attach the bank statement.
I need to pay for a continuing education (lifelong learning) program
Information on payment for participation in continuing education (lifelong learning) programs, which include, among others, summer schools, preparatory courses or the University of the Third Age, can be found on the website of the specific program or is sent directly by the faculties/institutes via e-mail. For educational programs offered via the BUT eShop, you are redirected to the payment options after submitting the application.
Request for a password change
If you are logging in with your registration email and have forgotten your password to the e-application system, request a new password at https://www.vut.cz/eprihlaska/en/eprihlaska/ucet/zadost-zapomenute-heslo, where you enter the email you provided during registration. Instructions on how to change your password will be sent to this email. This method of request can only be used for emails that do not contain the vut.cz or vutbr.cz domain.
For emails containing the vut.cz or vutbr.cz domain, you must use the "Login via IS BUT" option.

I am interested in two programmes at one faculty. I wonder if it is necessary to fill in two applications and make two payments or if it is possible to enter both programmes in a single application?
You can only register for a single field of study by one application paid so you have to submit and pay for two applications.
When submitting an application, I didn't have ... printed. How are grades to be certified in the event of an e-application? How about the doctor's certificate?

How do I know the e-application key?
You have received the application key (10 digits and 4 characters) by e-mail and you can also find it on the admission invitation or on report of admission.
When do I find the result displayed on the e-application?
The results of an admission exam will be displayed within several hours, the result of the admissions procedure within several days depending on the number of candidates.
What does the admissions sub-round result mean?
There are several rounds to admissions at some faculties. This is only how the entrance exam is referred to - the important thing is the result of the admissions.
What does the message "Not admitted unless formal requirements are met" mean?
The candidate will only be admitted when formal requirements are fulfilled. These may include the submission of a particular document, certificate, medical examination, etc.
