Jiří Hlinka will continue to lead the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering as dean in the next term

Jiří Hlinka has been part of the faculty leadership since 2014, previously as Vice-Dean for External Relations and Industry Cooperation, and since 2022 as Dean. He defended this role in the current election, so from February 2026 he will lead the faculty for another four years, until 31 January 2030.

According to Dean Hlinka’s plans, the rest of the current leadership will remain in a similar composition, but a fifth vice-dean position will be added and some vice-deans' competencies will be redistributed.

• Candidate for Vice-Dean for External Relations, Habilitation and Appointment Procedures – Prof. Ing. Ivan Křupka, Ph.D.
• Candidate for Vice-Dean for R&D, Intellectual Property, Strategy and Faculty Development – Assoc. Prof. Ing. Jaroslav Katolický, Ph.D.
• Candidate for Vice-Dean for Bachelor Studies, Admissions, Fees (BS), Timetables and Publishing Activities – Mgr. Jana Hoderová, Ph.D.
• Candidate for Vice-Dean for Master Studies, International Studies, Scholarships, Fees (NMS), Final Theses and State Final Examinations – Assoc. Prof. Ing. Radek Kalousek, Ph.D.
• Candidate for Vice-Dean for Doctoral Studies, Commercial Education, Lifelong Learning, Information Support and Data Analysis – Assoc. Prof. Ing. Lubomír Klimeš, Ph.D.
