To assess regional gray matter differences between group of the first episode schizophrenia men and normal controls, to take into consideration clinical demographic and methodological issues. We repeated VBM analysis several times with various modifications. The best results can be achieved with using modulation step in VBM approaches; this is more immportant than using study specific templates.
