Concretes using gypsum free cements are characterized in high initial strength; that is why they are specified for repairs exigent of prompt revamped construction recovery. The paper reports on observation covering resistance of these concretes to frost and thawing alternations and to defrosting chemicals applied within 3 and/or 7 days respectively as compared with resistance after 28 days of hardening.
