Abstract in The book of Abstracts, Yucomat 2018 This work deals with the study of electrochemical properties of powder materials based on Mg with 1, 5 and 10 wt. % Zn prepared by hot pressing at 300 and 400°C. The influence of chemical composition, structure and their final properties on corrosion mechanism and rates is determined by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and immersion test in the simulated body fluids.
