I would like to specialise in the main of two fields of application of the computer techniques at the Faculty of Chemistry of Brno University of Technology. I will focus on Computer Based Teaching application in Computer technique seminar, which was successfully implemented on basis of accepted and completed grant of FRVŠ (Universities Development Fund). The goal of this part is to demonstrate some non-traditional methods and practices of computer-aided teaching of Mathematics, which appears to be perspective for many students and to show and analyse results, which students succeed with lessons organised the above way. Computers can be used both for teaching purposes and for the communication of teachers and students in non-traditional ways. Common use of computers is not the topic of this thesis, which is focused on generation of tests, electronic teaching materials, generation of conference presentations and on communication with students supported by means of local area network and Internet www page.
