This paper deals with problems connected with reliability of electrical energy distribution. Problems involves penalization system of power supply interruption in Czech Republic according to Public Notices to Act No. 540/2005 Coll. Following text is focused on most frequent failures which results in electrical power outage. Causes of power failure are sorted by frequency of longest power outages.
