Originální abstrakt

Nanostructured molybdenum oxides (MOx) are known for their excellent fundamental properties and valuable functionalities. However, the well-controlled fabrication of stable MOx-based nanostructures remains a challenge. Here, we present an advanced electrochemical approach to synthesize a novel type of MOx-based nanodot/nanorod arrays self-aligned on substrates. Modern surface and interface analysis, along with electrical characterization of the MOx-based nanostructures, revealed the potential for their diverse applications as multipurpose semiconductor nanoelectrodes where the well-defined nanochannels for carriers, enlarged surface-to-volume ratio, and enhanced surface reactivity may bring significant advantages.
