Originální abstrakt

Although floating treatment islands (FTI) technology is a widespread technology area in the world; however, there are no known operational scale implementations in the temperate climate of the Czech Republic. The FTI extension has reached a compromise following communication with watercourse managers: FTIs can be tested first on test polygons and then verified their effect on a small scale on a water tank. For this purpose, in 2017 a facility FTI is built, the aim of which is in particular to improve the quality of outflow water. After verification in a laboratory environment, it was built a pilot plant on a small water tank. To define the effect of FTI on the quality of effluent water, we used the results of laboratory measurements. The regression equations focus on the behavior of the COD, Ntot, Ptot, N-NH4 and N-NO3 behaviors. Positive impact on the quality of running water can be expected, the extension to practice is underway - the university has created the first Spin-off company to produce the equipment under license. Therefore, the implementation of the water quality in watercourses can be expected to be extended to the Czech Republic in particular.
