Originální abstrakt

According to EC regulation the quantification of risk has to be analysed for chemical industrial plants or infrastructure and passed on the state authorities. In certain situations the evaluation of hazard scenarios are based on the structural lifetime consideration. In such cases the Factor Method for the prediction of the lifetime may be utilized. Its probabilistic from has been formulated by considering the individual factors to be random variables and reflecting the potential damage of the structural materials due to different chemical compounds. The limit function is constructed considering the target value of structural lifetime. The relevant probability is computed by a suitable simulation technique. A case study a concrete sewage plant assessment is presented for two limiting situations.
