ICBMPT 2026: International Conference on Building Materials, Products and Technologies in Brno

The 29th International Conference on Building Materials, Products and Technologies (ICBMPT) will take place in Brno on May 27–28, 2026. The conference is jointly organized by the Research Institute for Building Materials, Plc. (VÚSH), the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Brno University of Technology (FAST BUT), and the Association for Alternative Building Materials (ASAM).

The conference connects research on building materials with industrial practice and sustainability. The 2026 edition will focus particularly on:

• low-carbon binders and concretes,

• the use of fly ash and other by-products from the energy sector,

• circularity and the reuse of building materials,

• applications of artificial intelligence in materials research, testing, and quality control,

• assessment of the environmental footprint of building materials.

FAST BUT is involved in organizing the scientific program and supporting the participation of early-career researchers. For academic staff and industry partners alike, the conference provides an opportunity to present research results, share experience, and establish new collaborations in the field of modern building materials and their sustainable use.
