Profile

The aims of the course are offers educations from developing, designing, constructing, operating, controlling and diagnosting machining and forming technology, industrial robots and manipulators, as well as production systems compiled from them, including retrofitting ones.

Key learning outcomes

The study branch “Design of Product Machines and Equipment” includes courses focused on developing, designing, constructing, operating, controlling and diagnostics of machining and forming technology, industrial robots and manipulators, as well as production systems compiled from them.

Occupational profiles of graduates with examples

Course graduates pursue successful careers as developers, designers, constructors, operation managers, testing laboratory officers, sales representatives or production control managers in companies in the mechanical engineering or similar businesses, i.e. in firms dealing with the development, production and sales of production machinery or with designing and controlling of production processes.
The Institute of Production Machines, Systems and Robotícs ensures courses within doctoral study programme Design and Process Engineering. It provides students with opportunities for future scientific work in the given study branch. Successful graduates are awarded Ph.D. degree.
