Condition for crediting is to attend the trainings and to elaborate a semestral work.
Exam will consist of written part and oral part.

Course curriculum

1. Basics of mechanics for accident analysis (laws of motion, conservation laws, forces acting to vehicle, vehicle resistance-powers, adhesion ellipse, breaking in direct drive and in curve, on the level and at slope, in vertical curve, combination of previous options, limiting velocity in curve, principles of calculation of vehicle trajectory during course of accident, mathematical model).
2. Professional experiment or examination test for getting details for road accident analysis (establishing the visibility in curve, over brow of the hill, over immobile or mobile impedition, under lowered visibility, stopping powers of the vehicle, normal acceleration, trajectory of movement, foot-passengers velocity movement).
3. Calculations in the expert report, measurement data evaluation, propagation of errors (interval) of the starting data in calculations; methods of expert-judicially analysis (method of reversing the course, limiting method, analysis of cycles in time and space, judicial-engineering comparison, analysis of breakdowns).
4. Reconstruction of point position on the picture (cross position of points on the road, graphic point position fixing on straight line, linear projection, projective systems); theory of errors of single-image photogrammetry (basic terms, sources of errors, effect of non-plane of total going to accuracy of position of point in cross and linear direction); re-image, PCRect program, properties and possible sources of errors; stereophotogrammetry, trig square, vertical scanning. Film documentation and video recording, properties and evaluation.
5. Partial procedures and methods of analysis (cross transfer of vehicle - cases, derivation and application of relations for calculation, substituted values, use of analysis of lateral transfer, safe longitudinal distance between vehicles - derivation and application of relations for calculation, substituted values, use for analysis of overtaking manoeuvre, numerical and graphical analysis of overtaking manoeuvre - regulations, overtaking manoeuvre by constant velocity, with acceleration, with reducing velocity).
6. Determination of impact or equivalent barrier velocity by correlation diagram, energetic grids, from damage of vehicle surrounding, from extent and way of the crew injuries.
7. Determination of impact or equivalent barrier velocity from movement of objects after collision (horizontal and angular plunge, description of single phases of movement, derivation of relations, substituted values, fragment scatter), vehicle damage after collision with foot-passenger.
8. Collision of vehicles analysis (general principles, analyses, preparation of analysis, substituted values and determination, damage correspondence, EES, EBS and ways of determination, movement of objects after collision.
9. Graphic collision analysis (DRHI, MDRHI, check of volubility, method of rhomboid cut, method of energetic ring).
10. Numerical collision analysis (values, coordinates, calculation of eccentric collision on level, calculation in range of values, numerical or simulating programs and operating), analysis of movement after impact.
11. Analysis of typical accidents (accidents with foot-passengers at normal and decreased visibility, at various walk directions, vehicle collisions, vehicle combinations accidents including analysis of possibilities of running of oncoming vehicle in between semi trailer truck and trailer or in between trailers, terminology and analysis of accidents of bicycles and motorcycles, derailment of curve, hydroplaning, analysis of the crew position in vehicle, right of way, reduced ability to drive, accidents at traffic lights, technical failure as a cause or consequence of accident (single groups).
12. Computer programs for road accident analysis.
13. Expert report (evidence) to road accident causes and course.
