Building Constructions I

FAST-MH52Acad. year: 2021/2022

Structural systems of multi-storey buildings: - wall systems, masonry bearing walls, holes in the bearing walls - framed reinforced concrete systems - systems combined. Design systems of high-rise buildings, superstructure - principle, material variations. The ceiling structure, their function, general requirements, feedback on the vertical load-bearing walls: wooden ceilings, concrete, ceramic, metal, combined. Construction hanging. Chimney and vents. Unsound vertical structure, requirements, material and design solutions.
