Project - Building Enterprise II

Draw up a proposal for business plan for founding of construction firm oriented on construction work provisio. The use documentation elaborated in technical projects. Combination of knowledge and skills from previous technical disciplines and projects with knowledge and skills of construction management and special structural-and-economic disciplines. Proposal of business plan is presented as specific parts of the project – area of marketing in civil engineering, price of construction object and financing of construction order. Use of project control methods to determine mutual connection of all areas and to defend proposed plan including demonstration of feasibility. The plan is compiled with support of specific software products. Business plan students complete with a financial analysis of company and calculation of cost-effectiveness selected investment plan. The investment plan can be focused on buying a family house whose price is determined by the current selected methods of valuation rules. Use of the latest software for budgeting, cost estimating, valuation of immovables and setting of financial plan is compulsory.

Prerequisites

Knowledge from areas of technical disciplines, especially designing of civil and engineering objects and technology of construction works. Knowledge and skills from construction firm economics, pricing, price and cost management in civil engineering and from areas of financial and business management and marketing. Ability to use suitable software.

Aims

To draw up a proposal for business plan for founding of construction firm oriented on construction work provisio. To demonstrate ability to use knowledge from technical, economic, management and law disciplines. To demonstrate feasibility of proposed plan with respect to its organization, pricing, financial and business sides by help of controlling and marketing inquiry. Ability to use documentation from technical projects and suitable software for elaboration.
