This subject is focused on gaining abilities to evaluate architectural, artistic and urbanistic features, that in the process of pricing play more important role. It makes students acquanted with building law, design and project, genesis of architectural idea, its urbanistic determination, fundaments of environmental conditions as reflected in building law, with the maintenance and use of the buildings with respect to buildings evaluation.

Additional value gained by the study is in new abilities and skills related to architecture, building art and urbanism. This new views and skills will be integrated to comprehensive evaluation.

General orientation in arts and building culture, historical and philosofical links.

Lectures with PowerPoint presentation, seminars and topic related discussions

Evaluation of practical and theretical abilities by oral examination, seminary work and written text.

1. Generic view on architecture and building art, architectural features and art quality.
2. Planning determination of buildings, urbanism and land use.
3. Development of building art, architecture, value of historical architectonical monuments.
4. Societal functions of architecture and building art, and its impact on building price.
5. Development of urban planning and city in the history.
6. Functional division of grounds, impact on pricing, price map.
7. Family and family development creates the housing structures, impact on flats and hosing demand.
8. Impact of other factors on pricing like atraktivity, local criminality, good address.
9. Form of architectural and architectural symbolism
10. Transport in cities and rural areas, transport, accessibility and mobility
11. Building functions, firm and elastic function.
12. Urban dev elopement, urban decline and urban revitalisation.
13. Impact of building on human behaviour, architectural determinism.

Aims

The aim of the study is improve expert´s knowledge and neccessary skills for the evaluation of nonmaterial features of buildings and building complexes. Subject is focused on understanding and ability to evaluate architectural, urbanistic and environmental features of the building and urban conditions during the process of evaluation of buildings.
